For best use, setup with shortcut keys, which makes it even quicker. Very useful set of tools to Align lots of things, not just Annotation. Revit issue: once aligned, the set of annotation remains highlighted, but if you try to nudge the annotation it doesnt move.
Re-focusing on the view by clicking on theview name tab seems to re-set the focuse and you can move the updated tags One request for correction is likely to require an update of the distribute horizontally function. My opinion is that you should change it to the average of the highest and lowest objects, not the average of the first and last objects. Works exactly as I would expect Revit to out of the box. I also hope this is upgraded to soon. I am trying to center align Room tags to Ceiling tags. However, when I do this I get an error saying:. Parameter name: Head position of the tag with no leader could not be located outside of the host element. Your known issues page says something about Room, Space and Autodesk advance steel 2019 manual free tags with a leader need a double click be aligned. I would like to do this without a leader on the room tag.

I agree with this – sometime you want to move the majority of the tags TOWARDS the detail, and sometimes you want to move the majority AWAY from the detail – this could be placed in a separate “settings menu” that you only access to change defaults such as align to first selected, align to leftmost, align to rightmost, align to last selected I believe this would add a considerable amount of functionality, and I would use this addin constantly instead of just sporadically as i do now.

You can also try to unistall and reinstall the Align plugin. Looking at the picture you provided it shows the keyboard commands under the add-ins tab.

The one thing I think that could make this even better is if the addin worked with “text boxes” also. Select the A2 column. The column section changes, and the base plate is automatically modified to the new configuration. Close the properties dialog box. Look at the result, open the connection properties dialog box and notice that the projections are still the same.
It can be seen also by verifying the distance. The same applies if the profile is moved or stretched; for example, the column is shortened, the connection readjust to the new column location.
Select the gray intelligent box of A2 column base plate. Now select the base plate gray intelligent box of the B3 column. The B3 column base plate properties are now transferred to the A2 column base plate. Additionally, after creating the base plate connection at 2C grid, you can use the Propagate joint to apply the same connections to the 3B, 3A and 2A columns. We will use the Advance Copy tool to copy the concrete footings to the bottom of the columns. You will be orientated into plan view.
Change the View to a SE orientation. Activate the Grid intersection osnap. Select the Object tab, Other objects panel, then the footings icon. Place the concrete footings at grid 1A and select the Advance Copy tool icon located on the Tools category. The Copy option is set by default.

After inserting the concrete element, if you find it above or below the desired level, preform the following. Select the Workplanes button. The Structures dialog box is displayed.
To attach the top of the concrete footing to Level 0, Select the top button displayed as None. You will be prompted to select a level in which to attach the concrete footing. Click on Level 0 text.

The clip angle connection is applied only to the similar connections that were visible. End the isolation for the hidden W10x26 beams on grids 1 and grid B and apply connections. Apply connections to the other ends of the W14x22 beams located on grids 1 and grid B.

Select a point in the Groups area, right click then select Create a new group and name it Level-2 The Level-2 will be appended to the Group category; however, if you select the light bulb nothing happens, and it will be empty.
The elements on Level 2 needs to be added. Select the show all elements icon to view the entire structure. Turn off or hide unwanted elements. Change the orientation of the model to Front then window select levels 0 and 1. Right click on the group name Level-2 and select Add elements.
Turn on Level-2 by selecting the light bulb. Remove the Roof opening components. Select the Level-2 text, right click and choose, remove elements,remove the window opening elements, as shown in the figure. Toggle on level-2 twice to see the results as shown below. Create a folder of the Level 2 1.
Select an area in the Groups window, right click and select Create folder and name it Level-2 Roof opening. The folder is created and appended to the Groups category. Toggle the light bulbs off and on for the different groups to see the results.
Drag and drop the Level-2 and Roof Opening in the newly created folder. Drag and drop the Level 2 and the Roof opening into the newely created Level- 2 Roof opening folder. You can save the settings as a template. For this example, it is named MQG-Template.
